It has been months since I put anything here. I have been working on things other than this web page.
At the end of June I will be going on a trip to Colorado and Nebraska. The Nebraska trip is requiring some planning. After going to Kearney for the past 45 years, I am getting ready to contact Lawless cousins who live there. Jackie Lawless had a family there with Shirley Kay Andersen. Some of their children probably still live there. In the past few months, I have been finding more about the family that gives me some clues about the family. When Shirley died a few years ago, the obituary stated she had 19 grandchildren and some great-grandchildren. I will report here when I get back from that trip. I have a list of questions that I hope to answer.
I have also been working on scanning and transcribing family letters. The latest batch is from Bessie mainly to Anna written in the 1940s. The report covers the time from when Bessie moved to DC, met Ray and had her first three children. Lots of interesting stuff!
